Part of my work at CCAP was creating high-quality video resources for a variety of different projects and purposes. Below, you can see some of the videos I created during my internship.
CCAP: Climate Policy In Action: A brief promotional video explaining the organization’s mission for fundraising and promotional purposes.
Recycle Organics Presents: CoP Met-LAC: A video announcement for a newly-launched initiative. This video was produced in Spanish and English and was shown at the 2023 Latin America and the Caribbean Climate Week.
This Giving Tuesday, support CCAP’s mission to combat climate change: A tie-in video to the organization’s Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign.
In addition to creating videos, I also contributed significantly to the modernization and upkeep of the CCAP website, as well as efforts to update the website for one of the organization’s joint initiatives, Recycle Organics. Below you can see more details about how I assisted in these websites’ transformations.
CCAP Website
- Reduced visual clutter, resolved spacing issues, and improved contrast of text-on-image elements.
- Reorganized lower-level information into top-level hubs (ex. COP28, Carbon Markets, Methane Mitigation)
- Adhered more closely to the organization’s style guide
- Improved formatting on mobile devices
Recycle Organics Website
- Created the Resources hub to organize the initiative’s studies, guides, graphics, and other information
- Improved quality of English translation and expanded English translations for many web pages
- Implemented interactive web graphics
